Drug Free Action Alliance Announces Results of Super Bowl Survey

The Drug Free Action Alliance (DFAA) in Columbus, Ohio,  issued two press releases on February 10, 2010, about the results of the agency’s Super Bowl Survey which attracted over 30,000 youth in middle and high schools in 38 states. In an Ohio-specific press release, DFAA reported that over 6,000 Ohio youth participated in the survey and chose beer ads in their top three favorites. In the national press release on the same survey, DFAA reported that beer ads did not place in the top 3. DFAA provides a resource on their website about using the Super Bowl as a “teachable moment” as parents watch the game with their children.
